A mom is one of the toughest jobs on the planet. We are at the core of shaping the future of this country. Raising healthy, happy, well rounded children can be very difficult with all the negative influences in the world.As a mom I want kids who are proud of who they are. I want kids who are strong enough to be their own person -- to not fall into the trap of keeping up with the Joneses or being like the Joneses.
I found myself falling into the "suburban life" rat trap -- running my kids from sport to sport, activity to activity. Pushing for perfection in school and life. I lost track of what was really important to raising happy, healthy, self reliant, and self assured kids.
So this past year I have taken a good look at my life, and my families life... which is why I began to simplify our lives. It's all about slowing down and enjoying our life in the here and now.
The catalyst for this transformation for our family was the purchase of my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. For the most part it was about my mindset and how I react to the world. My Jeep has given me a new view on life. For me it's all about living life to the fullest and to be my own person.
I picked the Jeep for many reasons. Just like all other Jeep owners - there are no words that can convey the feeling I get when I drive my Jeep except -- It's a Jeep Thing. It has been a lifestyle and attitude changer for me.
