I'm not sure reading my Jeep Wrangler manual is a good idea. Now I'm a little paranoid about putting #JeepParts on my Jeep. The point in the manual that I am at is the section on Correct Load Limit.
I found my tire and loading information on the placard on the driver's door. The maximum weight my Jeep can carry is 850 lbs.
850 lbs is not a whole lot of weight. With just my family in the Jeep that is 620 pounds. That only leaves me with 230 pounds to work with.
I am now wondering if I need to take in to consideration the aftermarket parts I put on my Jeep?
I estimated about 300 extra pounds on my Jeep from the front bumper, rear bumper, sliders, and lights.
So with my whole family in the Jeep with out any cargo we are over the maximum load capacity.
What does this all mean? Do I count the aftermarket parts?

The manual states:
"Under a maximum loaded vehicle condition, gross axle weight ratings (GAWRs) for the front and read axles must not be exceeded."
